Newark Community Health
Centers, Inc. (NCHC) offers a variety of primary and preventive
health care for individuals and families. Our services
include: adult & family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology,
pediatrics, dentistry, optometry, podiatry and ear, nose
and throat (ENT). Additional
services include social work support services, HIV Testing & Counseling,
Nutritional Counseling and Outreach services.
NCHC provides medical services to insured, uninsured and
underserved individuals and families. These
services are provided by a dedicated team of board certified
doctors as well as nurses, social workers, clinical health
educators and support personnel. We offer a sliding
fee scale; based on an individuals family size and income. In
addition NCHC accepts Medicare, Medicaid , Managed Medicaid
, HMOs and private Insurance. Our goal is to help you
feel better and live a longer, healthier and happier life,
regardless of your ability to pay.
Hours of Operation
NCHC health centers are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Dental hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the 741 Broadway center in Newark. Evening hours are available from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the East Orange center on Mondays and Wednesdays.
